|
Foundation of the company
Max Böhler and Ferdinand Weber
|
A company with tradition
Max Böhler and Ferdinand Weber founded in 1945, after the end of World War II, the
company BÖWE,
which
initially was named Böhler and Weber.
Born out of necessity
When the Messerschmitt AG
closed, Böhler and Weber were also concerned. In a cowshed in the district
Pfersee of Augsburg they produced at
first out of army goods
various everyday items which
were urgently needed after the war.
As well
as allegedly cooking pots out of steel helmets
.
The realization of an idea
As
a supplier for various cleaning companies the idea arose of developing and building there own cleaning machines.
1950 presented
Böhler and Weber the first chemical cleaning machine for textiles.
